Our Disco Soup inaugurated summer in London, spreading the word to take#FoodWaste #OffTheMenu.

Disco Soup is a global movement celebrating delicious solutions to food waste, encouraging volunteers to come along and chop to the beat, and creating amazing meals from surplus food that otherwise would have been wasted.
We spent the afternoon chopping, peeling and dicing to some great disco tunes in a party atmosphere with some delicious food and amazing beer made from surplus bread!

We were also excited to host a series of FREE workshops throughout the afternoon including drop in pickling sessions from Bloch’s Pickles, a Kombucha Tea station and crafts from This is Rubbish’s Poppy Flint.

This Disco Soup was organised and supported by Feedback, Plan Zheroes, This is Rubbish, Foodcycle and The Skip Garden, as part of the Farm to Fork project.
